Commissioning Editor & Writer

Eva is a writer, editor and educator. Where Is Uncle Al? is her first children’s book.

 

For AAP, she helps talented people refine their work, and sends many emails. Her perfect day would feature a swim, a bustling market and meeting someone with a crazy life story.​

Designer & Illustrator

​

Sarah creates pictures and helps AAP make things look right on the page. Where is Uncle Al? is the first picture book she’s illustrated. She’s passionate about nature walks (particularly involving sunflowers) and something she calls ‘adventure light’. Recently, she has painted many elephants.

Communications & Photography

​

Bethany is a photographer and pro communicator.

 

For AAP, she seeks meaningful connections with artists and other publishing collectives. She captures people/products in their best light. Her perfect day entails passing a volleyball, watching comedy and the sea, sea, sea.

Poet

​

Seth studied painting at Camberwell and now he makes prints, writes, and works in a radical bookshop.

 

One Night an Elephant is his first published collection of poetry. This year he is learning the names of trees, to better understand their perspectives.

Artist

Kitty is an artist based in mid Wales. Kitty draws, makes prints and pots, and spends a lot of time exploring the countryside with her small, white cat.

 

One Night, An Elephant is her first collaborative project. She hopes it will be one of many.

Poet

​

Boudicca is a young poet who has been twice-commended for the Foyle Young Poets of the Year award. Their work is deeply personal, focusing on their experience as a queer teenager and everything that comes along with it, through stories, and memories.

 

They self-published a debut collection, Birthright, in 2021.
